Jammer Levels
Our programs offer 3 different levels for each class. Jammers are evaluated during their trial class by our coaches. They are invited to level up when they master all required skills. To see their progression, we provide colored Level Sleeves where jammers earn badges.
Why Different Levels?
At The JAM, our top priority is the safety of our members. We value the importance of progression through each program. Our jammers are provided a colored Level Sleeve where they can stick the badge(s) they earned for skill(s) they master during class. A fun way to set goals for kids and to monitor progression for parents & coaches!
What’s Your JAMmer Level?
Your coach will evaluate your level according to 3 criteria:
Strength - Agility - Coordination
Pink Level
SKILLS: Fwd rolls, Bkd rolls, Jumps, Runs, Swings.
Basic skills development on the 4 events: floor, beam, bars and vault.
Goal: developing the fundamentals.
Purple Level
Progression to more advanced skills and combination of skills on each event.
SKILLS: Specific to each gymnast.
Gold Level
Invitation ONLY - This class is designed to prepare athletes to enter a competition level.
Yellow Sleeve
Skills development and strength building.
Ninjas will learn basic ninjastics skills based on safety, strength building and coordination.
Green Sleeve
Ninjas will combine all the basic skills together to find fluidity and optimum agility. Introduction to tumbling.
Red Sleeve
Jammer now knows how to flip, to climb and to face any obstacle. The last challenge is the accuracy of the landing!
How far can you go? How precisely can you land? How crazy can you be?
SKILLS: Safety rolls, backflip progressions, basic vaulting, wall running.
Blue Sleeve
SKILLS: Round-off, Backbend, Handstand, Pullover, Back Hip Circle.
Introduction level to Obstacle courses and skills development.
Ninjas Red Sleeve are invited to go straight to Orange Sleeve.
Orange Sleeve
Obstacle course training and street running.
Introduction to strength training.
Black Sleeve
Advanced course combinations, tumbling and street running reinforcement.
Strength training, & introduction to weight lifting.
